India to Go for Mini Elections!

Central Election Commission (CEC) had announced the schedule for the elections in Five States. Elections in Goa, Punjab and Uttarakhand will be completed in a single phase. Elections in Goa and Punjab will take place on 4th February while Uttarakhand votes on 15th February.

Manipur even though a small state will have the election in two phases due to security reasons and difficult terrain conditions. Manipur votes on March 4th and 8th. Uttar Pradesh, the biggest state in the country will have the election in Seven Phases.

Assembly Polls for 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh starting from February 11th and will end on March 8th. Counting for all the states will be held on March 11th. As of today, BJP is hoping to win Goa, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh and sees a difficult but outside chance in BJP.
