India Much Safer than the US Even for Americans?

Total Number of Coronavirus cases in the United States has crossed the One Million and that is more than one-third of the total cases across the globe. Several Americans were stranded in India after the country suddenly canceled its International Flight services.

The US Government had arranged special flights from various locations of India to bring back their stranded citizens. But then, many who had enlisted for repatriation from India were not responding to offers of seats on the planes arranged to take them back home.

This may be because they feel India relatively much safer than America at least for the time being. So far, 4,000 Americans had been brought back to the US and at least 6,000 more Americans may have been still in India. A sizeable chunk of them prefers to say in India only.

But then, their prolonged stay is likely to cause Visa Problems in the coming days. While the total cases in the United States cross one million, India has around 32,000 cases till date.
