
The Attorney on the case felt Patel violated his oath to do no harm to his patients under his care. He further observed, “Our veterans have made incredible sacrifices for our country and deserve the best medical treatment and highest quality care.”
The Attorney said Dr. Rajesh Motibhai Patel, a physician at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, allegedly assaulted four of his female patients during routine exams, groped their breasts, and improperly touched their vaginal area. Investigators feel Dr. Rajesh Motibhai Patel, 68, of Lilburn, Georgia, might have victimized additional patients.
The victims can reach out to the officers. For now, indictment means he is simply charged. He will be considered innocent till proven guilty. The case is being investigated by the Department of Veteran Affairs, Office of Inspector General.
