Indian Spouses to Lose US Work Authorization?

Indian brides who married the NRI’s had been given a boon of permission to work on H-4 Visa by the Obama government. There was also a petition filed in the court opposing the decision stating that the law of permitting immigrant spouses to work in the country hurts the American workers.

Now, the Trump government seems to be working on the court case asking the court a time of 60 days to take a call on the issue calling the 60 day period as the adequate time for the leadership to analyze the issue. Trump has already become a headache for the H-1B holders and now this is going to be a challenge for the Indian spouses who are working on H4 Visas.

On the other hand, the immigration voice noted that many immigrants have established firms which created employment for the American workers too. The voice has also raised their concern that the work permit was the only option for them to protect the rights of its members and families in the US.

60 days to decide the fate of the employment of dependent visa holders in the US. Let’s wait and see what Trump has for them.
