Indian Student Dies Hours Before Flight To UK

In what could be considered a shocking event, an Indian student died by suicide hours before his flight to the United Kingdom. The student is identified as Sivakrishna, a Nandigama native.

Sivakrishna was scheduled to board a flight to London at 2:15 AM on Wednesday and the family had arranged everything for the same.

On Tuesday, at around 3:45 PM Sivakrishna said to his parents that he would meet some of his friends and left the house. His father dialed him at 6 PM and Siva replied there’s still time and he will come back soon. Sadly, that was his last ever conversation.

Sivakrishna didn’t return home after the telephone call and the worried family started the search operation. He was later found hanging by a tree in the wee hours of 11 January, Wednesday.

Sivakrishna’s brother Gopikrishna is also studying MS in London and the parents thought the two brothers would have a bright future in the UK. But that wasn’t to be as Siva died by suicide hours before his flight.

The police stated that Siva might not have liked going to the UK and that might be the reason why he took his life. Further investigation is underway.
