Chandrababu said that AP had led IT revolution in the 1990s and looked forward to leading the global quantum computing frontier. Quantum computing is unstoppable and will redefine governance and innovation, said Babu.

CM Naidu said he envisioned a Silicon Valley-inspired ecosystem where academia, global expertise and start-ups converged. He cited the example of analyzing 1.7 crore families under the P4 initiative with the help of TCS. The CM emphasized on real-time analytics and inclusive policies.

Babu proposed a time-bound approach to create a scalable model for national replication. He announced his plans to share the same with Prime Minister Modi as they both shared a common interest in cutting-edge technology.

Two committees will be formed to speed up the process. One for infrastructure and another for ecosystem development. L&T will start construction of the main quantum facility supporting infrastructure for simultaneous progress.

IBM’s collaboration with TCS and Andhra Pradesh would accelerate quantum algorithm development, helping in reaching the goal of quantum advantage.

TCS outlined a hybrid computing strategy predicting breakthroughs in life sciences, cryptography and material sciences.

The Quantum Valley Tech Park will drive high-end job creation, talent development and global investment. CM Chandrababu’s plans include quantum-enabled public services like GST optimisation and real-time census modeling alongside India’s first quantum governance framework.

AP is all set to place India as a global quantum computing hub, redefining innovation.
