Internal Rifts Turn Headache for Naidu in YSR’s Bastion

TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu is making a serious effort to establish TDP’s foothold for the next general polls in the home turf of Main Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. But then, Naidu’s efforts are being suppressed by the internal rifts among the leaders of the district.

Almost all the leaders are trying to prop up their individual political mileage while trying to suppress their dissidents and opposing groups in the party. And that is leading to all the efforts of the government going vain to woo the people. TDP has got only one MLA in the district from Rajampeta.

After the 2014 elections, TDP has added to its tally two more MLAs from YSR Congress – Adinarayana Reddy of Jammalamadugu and Jayaramulu of Badvel. The test for the Yellow party will begin here with the upcoming MLC elections in the district.
