IPL Betting: AP Man Contacts RCB Player, Arrested

The IPL season is here and with the matches coming thick and fast, so is the infamous IPL betting scandal, which has been around for quite a while now.

Now, in a strange development, a man from Andhra Pradesh has been arrested by AP police for contacting an IPL player.

The said unnamed AP man somehow got the contact number of RCB pace bowler Mohammed Siraj. He then texted Siraj that he had lost big money in IPL betting and he is in a deep mess. He requested Siraj for monetary help.

Shortly after receiving the WhatsApp message from the unknown man, Siraj quickly approached the BCCI anti-corruption team. The team then quickly came to action and intimated the AP police.

The police then arrested the AP man who sent a Whatsapp message to Siraj over IPL betting losses. He is currently in police custody and is being processed for legal consequences now.
