IT Ideas to revolutionize Policing in Hyderabad!

Hackathon – an interface between IT enthusiasts and Cyberabad Police held at Cyberabad Police Commissionerate in Gachibowli recenlty brought out several new ideas of using IT for improving efficiency.The most impressive one is the Novel Challan system. According to the existing one, a vehicle user do not know about the challan unless he gets a notice to his home or when he checks at the Traffic Police Website.

The Novel Challan System automatically pop up challan details when issued if a person adds his vehicle number, mobile phone number and email id in to the app. One more interesting item in the Hackathon is that of a multipurpose gadget which can trace persons if they physically carry it. This gadget smaller than a mobile phone will come handy for women particularly working in the night shifts to make sure they do not encounter any trouble.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand informed media that he is impressed by the innovation at display and promised to adopt some of those ideas subject to maintenance and infrastructure costs involved
