It’s an end card for land pooling in AP

The Land pooling in the 29 villages of Andhra Pradesh’s proposed capital area is completed by Saturday. CRDA officials worked till late midnight of Saturday to complete the formalities of farmers who came forward for the land pooling. Many farmers came forward to give their lands in the last minute after government revised compensation package.

The state government had already confirmed that there will not be any extension of the land pooling date. Government sources say the government is gearing up for the land acquisition from March 6th. The notification regarding the same will be released in couple of days.

There is a target of pooling 33811 acres of land from farmers in the ongoing land pooling. According to the last update of the government it could pool close to 24500 by February 26th. It is said that about 5000 acres are pooled in last two days. Government is yet to announce the final figure.
