Is IYR Working Without Salary?

Just Ousted Brahmin Welfare Corporation Chairman IYR Krishna Rao claims to be working without salary despite the Chief Minister offering hefty amount. But then, the government sources say IYR is trying to misrepresent the facts in this issue.

IYR is drawing 1.1 Lakhs from the government in the form of allowances but there is a Zero in the Salary Column. IYR is drawing money on par with others who are enjoying cabinet rank nominated post. IYR is not drawing anything under Salary column due to a technical reason.

According to the rules of central government, anyone who is drawing Pension after retirement should not be receiving a salary from any government agencies. Taking Salary from AP government will mean that IYR will be losing his Pension for IAS. So, what IYR is telling people is not totally true, government sources say.
