Jagan Desperately Wooing Lagadapati?

Reports are emerging that Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen to bring Former Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal into the party at any cost. The talks are currently on. YSR Congress wants to field him in his old turf, Vijayawada Parliament.

The Senior Leaders of Congress who are politically inactive after the bifurcation are making their way back to politics. Congress is trying to bring Lagadapati as well. Jagan is keen to bring an experienced leader like Lagadapati into the party.

YSR Congress anyways does not have a strong candidate for Vijayawada Parliament and it can fancy its chances against a Strong Candidate like Kesineni Nani. It has to be seen what Lagadapati is up to and how responds to this offer by Jagan.

The former MP always looked like he does not like Jagan even though he is very close to the Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. After the bifurcation, Lagadapati got close to Chandrababu Naidu and is also helping the Chief Minister with periodical surveys of the State Scenario.
