Jagan gambling ready for a death blow?

YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had bit a dangerous bullet to stay relevant in the state politics. Despite the best efforts, YSR Congress is unable to make an impact on people and there are alarm bells ringing for the party.

In order to stay in the public glare, YSR Congress had decided to contest for the MLC elections in Local Body Quota for Krishna and Guntur. The ruling Telugu Desam Party has majority members in the local bodies here and will easily win these seats.

However Jagan had taken a bold decision to field high profile candidates here – Ummareddy Venkateswarulu (Guntur) and Superstar Krishna’s Brother, Adiseshagiri Rao (Krishna). YSRCP had sent signals that it is taking this elections very serious with this move. This will work wonders to the cadre confidnece if they win at least one but if they lose, it will be a death blow for the party here.
