During the 2019 campaign, Jagan in a meeting announced making Alla Ramakrishna Reddy as a minister if he defeats Nara Lokesh in Mangalagiri.
He did but did not get a berth in both the cabinet reshuffle. Just not for that, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy is famous for troubling Chandrababu Naidu Government by filing cases in many issues including Amaravati in 2014-19.
But Jagan overlooked him. Sources say that in a recent survey of YSR Congress, it was revealed that Lokesh is going to win Mangalagiri comfortably this time.
Anti-incumbency on Alla and Lokesh’s proactiveness seems to be having an impact on the constituency.
It is quite natural that Jagan do not want to waste a cabinet berth on a losing candidate. Hence Alla had to miss out.
