Jagan Gifts Babai After Historic Loss?

Jagan’s Uncle and Former Minister, YS Vivekananda Reddy is appointed as the incharge of YSR Congress affairs in Kadapa district. Viveka recently contested for Kadapa MLC and lost to TDP Candidate in what can be termed as a historic loss to Jagan’s family and Party.

Viveka disappeared from political sphere after the loss but Jagan still chose to give him the party reins. Viveka previously worked as a Minister, MLA, MLC, and MP. However, there are different opinions about his candidature in the party.

YSR Congress leaders feel Viveka is a too soft person and will not be a good choice to handle Kadapa affairs where the politics will be running sky high. Some feel elevating him after a historic loss will give an impression that family politics is paramount in YSR Congress.
