Jagan Gives Court A Miss Once Again

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had given a miss to hearings in the CBI and ED Courts in Nampally, Hyderabad. The hearings are happening in both the courts in relation to the disproportionate assets of Jagan. Jagan’s counsel filed an absent petition seeking an exemption from Public appearance.

Rajya Sabha MP Vijaya Sai Reddy, IAS Officer Srilakshmi, Retired IAS Officials – Samuel and Rajgopal, and others have attended the court. Jagan Mohan Reddy only made a single court appearance after he is elected as the Chief Minister after the court became serious.

After that court appearance, Jagan skipped another two hearings. Earlier, the CBI court had refused him exemption from the Personal Appearances and the same petition is pending with the ED Court. The CBI Court opined that a person’s position is no way related to the courts and his cases.

On the other side, TDP demands that the bail granted to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy should be canceled on the grounds that he is misusing his position to intentionally delay the proceedings in the cases.
