Jagan Government Okays Chandrababu’s Proposal

Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had announced plans of taking up Relief Measures worth One Crore Rupees completely with his own funds in his Kuppam Constituency. Among a series of things, An Oxygen plant worth 35 Lakh Rupees was planned at the local Government hospital.

Naidu has sent a letter of intent to the district administration. The Government has permitted the oxygen plant setup. The district coordinator of hospital services has given the authorization to the hospital superintendent. Naidu announced this last week but then, there were apprehensions if the Government will allow the works to happen for the obvious reasons.

Previously, when TDP leader Putta Sudhakar Yadav offered to set up a 200-bed COVID care center in his Mydukuru constituency, the government did not give the necessary permission. But then, it looks like the state government had avoided controversy at least in this issue.

“With the permission obtained, the works will begin very soon and the plant will be brought to use at the earliest. We are also awaiting permissions to set up two isolation centers of 200 beds each at two colleges in the constituency,” a source in TDP told us.
