Jagan in Dilemma About Chandrababu’s Pensions Googly?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu pulled off a blinder by doubling all kinds of Pensions months ahead of the Assembly Elections. This came as a surprise for the Opposition. Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is taken back by this announcement and is in two minds about what he should be doing now.

Announcing 3000 Rupees Pensions will make him look like desperate to come back to Power. At the same time, if he did not increase, he may fall short. In 2014 elections, Chandrababu Naidu was the first to announce the Loan Waiver. Jagan did not want to follow Chandrababu and said Loan Waiver is not possible.

YSR Congress believes that Loan Waiver played a crucial part in TDP’s victory in 2014 elections. So, they are too cautious about letting go this important aspect. So, the Opposition Leader is caught in two minds over this issue. We will have to see if he will go for the 3000 Rupees Announcement.
