Jagan in Plans to Replace Vamsi?

Even as key leaders are leaving YSRCP, Jagan is in the process of strengthening the party by bringing in pro-active in-charges.

In the process, he is trying to woo senior Congress leaders. Jagan is in plans to replace inactive in-charges with more dynamic leaders.

Right now, he has shifted focus to Gannavaram. Vallabhaneni Vamsi is now in custody and will be tried under several sections. There is no possibility of him coming out anytime soon.

So, Jagan is looking out for a proper replacement. In the past, Yarlagadda Venkata Rao was in-charge of Gannavaram. But he went to TDP and Vamsi jumped into YSRCP. Since then nothing substantial has been done in Gannavaram.

Gannavaram is mostly populated by those belonging to the Kamma community. So, Jagan needs a strong leader there.

At such a time, Congress senior leader Sunkara Padma’s name has surfaced in political circles. Padma wanted to become AP Congress chief, but that went to YS Sharmila.

It is being said that Jagan wants to rope in Padma to take over Gannavaram. Talk is that she is already in parleys with YSRCP senior leaders.

It is being said it’s just a matter of time before Padma joins YSRCP as Gannavaram in-charge.
