Jagan & Kesineni, So Much Buildup For This?

Reports are coming in that TDP Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani will be joining the YSR Congress in the presence of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy later today.

Sources say that Nani asked for One MP ticket (for himself) and five MLA tickets for his group and Jagan reportedly heeded to giving Vijayawada MP ticket and two MLA tickets.

YSR Congress is making big statements that only the MLAs it has refused tickets are joining TDP. But now, the party is admitting a TDP leader for whom a ticket is denied, and that too by giving three tickets (One MP, Two MLA Tickets).

Nani himself made tall claims of resigning as the MP before taking the next step. But then, it looks like he is not going to resign as his vote may come in handy in the Rajya Sabha elections that will happen in March.

The irony is that Jagan is pushing for the disqualification of the four rebel MLAs who voted for TDP in the MLC elections last year. He wants them to be disqualified before the Rajya Sabha elections so that their votes do not help the TDP candidate.

It looks like Jagan and Nani themselves busted their tall claims.

Meanwhile, the YSR Congress cadre is unhappy about Jagan bowing down to Nani.

“Five years of absolute power but the party failed to find a proper candidate for Vijayawada Parliament and had to depend on migrated leaders. Nani will be the first to leave the party if TDP wins,” they say.
