Jagan’s Kotha Idea For Chettha Pannu

YSR Congress had introduced ‘Garbage Tax’ (Chettha Pannu) on every household in the state and it is getting severe criticism from the common folks.

YSR Congress MLAs and Incharges are getting severe backlash from the people in this regard when they go to them in Gadapa Gadapaku program.

The State Government had decided to remove the Garbage Tax but bring it in a different form. The Government will impose Garbage Tax along with Property Tax in areas where the Garbage Tax is not properly collected.

The additional tax will be added in Property Tax as a slab. Since this is added to Property Tax, Government feels the public will not feel the pinch.

This new system will be implemented in Vishakapatnam as a pilot project and will be implemented in the rest of the state later.

Vishakapatnam had seen collections of 12 Crore against the target of 35 Crore in the last six months.
