Jagan’s Latest Worry About Amaravati?

The Permanent Structures in Amaravati is taking more time than expected. The state government is struggling to finalize the designs for these buildings in the name of wanting the best designs which will remain as the glory of AP for generations to come.

The opposition is in a way happy that the capital is being delayed since the government can be criticized. But then, they have another worry here. They doubt if the government is intentionally delaying the capital construction.

“Looks like they want to take up the construction in the last minute and complete it before the elections. They will obviously claim to have constructed that in record speed and go for the elections showing the buildings,” a YSR Congress Senior opined.

If that is really the case, Jagan Mohan Reddy should be worried. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be touring London on October 24th and 25th, for the final call on Norman Fosters and Partners designs of capital Amaravati. Once the designs are finalized, the groundbreaking ceremony will happen as well.
