Jagan Left Tollywood Just One Step Ahead Of Target

Telangana Government had allowed theaters to reopen with 100% occupancy since the last month. The industry is eagerly waiting for Andhra Pradesh Government to accord the permission so as to release the movies in theaters.

The State Government has allowed theaters to function from July 8th leaving one Seat between every two seats. The industry will still take the offer with less occupancy since small and medium budget films can be released but there is another rider which disappoints them.

The state government has decided to continue the night curfew in Godavari districts where the COVID-19 positivity rate is still over 5%. That means the night shows in both the districts will be affected. No notable releases may take the offer.

But then if the downtrend in the cases continue, we may see the restrictions lifted in both the districts as well. We may be looking at normalcy in this month itself.
