‘Jagan may join BJP as well’

We have been hearing about a possible merger of YSR Congress party in to Congress party as both the parties share the same DNA. But political analysts say there is a possibility of Jagan joining BJP as well going further. Here is what one of the political analysts shared exclusively with M9.news

“YSRCP and Congress merger theories are quite common as both of them have similar DNAs. We have seen several leaders coming out of Congress, floating separate parties and merging them back to the parent party. YSR Congress may not be an exception given the party’s plight today. But there is no reason or benefit for Jagan boarding a sinking ship. Going by the recent developments in AP politics, it is clear that BJP is trying to establish his foothold here like in Maharashtra and Harayana. We see YSR Congress leaders lining up to join the saffron party. Jagan will have a security from the corruption cases as well as a political future if he joins the ruling party than the sinking Congress” opined him.

“However I only see Chandrababu Naidu between Jagan and BJP. He does not want a life line for the opposition leader and wants to finish him off before the next elections. At the same time, BJP may be hesitant of getting tainted by admitting a corrupt leader like Jagan when it is promoting itself as an anti-corruption crusader across the nation” he added.
