Jagan No More That Simham!

Jagan Mohan Reddy bagged the biggest shock and humiliation of his life in the recent elections.

Falling from a historic 151 seats to a paltry eleven, this is as shameful as it can get for any political leader. It is a bigger shock for a self-centric leader like Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Besides this, Jagan always used to take pride in having no alliances in the election.

Jagan can not afford to ally with the BJP due to conflicting vote banks of Minorities and the SCs. It is of no use to ally with Congress in 2014 and 2019 because the party itself is struggling.

But then, Jagan masked it intelligently with statements like ‘Simham Single ga Vasthundhi’.

But then, Jagan is in neck-deep trouble right now. Not only does Chandrababu have humongous power in the state assembly, but he also has a say over the Central Government as the NDA Government is dependent on his sixteen MPs.

Jagan and his supporters fear that this will activate the cases as well.

There is immense pressure on Jagan to get the support of the INDI alliance at this time.

Jagan is also slowly giving up. The recent protest in Delhi and the support of the parties in the INDI alliance is an example of it.

Joining the INDI alliance will also neutralize Sharmila’s threat.

But then, it can aggravate his cases. But then, supporters are saying that when cases are imminent, it is better to go down with the support at the Center rather than struggling singly.

Congress won 99 seats in the recent General Elections giving them a small hope of redemption. So, the leaders and followers are pressuring Jagan to take its side.

But then, this is not going to be an easy decision for Jagan to make.

The next one year or two will show a direction to Jagan. If Congress and its allies was able to make an impact on the upcoming Assembly elections, Jagan may not hesitate to join the INDI alliance.

He will also have to answer why he chose to ally with Congress, the party which he blamed is the reason for his father’s death. But after making similar allegations on Reliance, we have seen Jagan giving a Rajya Sabha seat to the company’s director.

So, immediate political needs will only trigger the decision.
