Jagan Risking Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Career?

Vallabhaneni Vamsi who was elected on the TDP ticket in 2019 from Gannavaram shifted to YSR Congress later on. But ever since, Vamsi’s joining YSR Congress in Gannavaram is in shambles.

Yarlagadda Venkat Rao who contested and lost on Vamsi and the party’s senior leader, Dutta Rama Chandra Rao are fuming about the party’s high command and are not going on well with Vamsi.

There are rumors that Yarlagadda may join TDP. Recently, Jagan sent an emissary to Dutta and gave an appointment to his family indicating that he is concentrating on Gannavaram finally.

Meanwhile, there are rumors in Gannavaram that the CM is contemplating sending Vamsi to Vijayawada Parliament in 2024 to restore sanity in the assembly constituency. There is no proper candidate for YSR Congress in Vijayawada Parliament.

But then, Vamsi may not be ready to take up this. Previously, he contested from Bejawada Lok Sabha once in 2009 and lost. He is skeptical about going there since he does not have a grip on Vijayawada politics, especially the Urban voters.

Also, TDP is very strong there. Vamsi’s followers are fuming that Jagan is trying to risk their leader’s political future by going back on the promise of the Gannavaram seat.
