Jagan Says He Has No Role to Play in Sakshi

The Counsel of Jagan Mohan Reddy the other day filed the Counter in CBI’s Petition to Cancel the Opposition Leader’s Bail. The CBI Court admitted the Counter and posted the further arguments in the case on 21st of this month.

In the counter, Jagan went on to say that he has no role to play in Sakshi and the interview of Ramakanth Reddy is a part of the day to day affair of the Channel. Jagan also accused CBI of witch hunting him. He also reminded the court that CBI intentionally leaked news of the case to media earlier.

Jagan alleged that those leaks in a media tried to influence the case back then but no action is taken on the media. It has to be seen if the court will buy the argument that Jagan has no say in the affairs of his own media house especially as the channel is known for being a mouthpiece of the opposition leader and his YSR Congress Party.
