Jagan Says No Then, And Yes Now?

A few months ago, Volunteers across the state have called for a strike demanding an increase in their salaries. Back then, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wrote an open letter to them pacifying them. In the letter, Jagan has claimed the volunteer is not a job but a service.

He went on to say the Government is not paying them salaries but is giving honorarium. And now, the government today gave advertisements in all Newspapers this morning about the ‘Government Jobs Revolution’ under the two years rule of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The Government has claimed to have given 6,03,756 (which includes contract and out-sourcing jobs too). Out of that Six lakh jobs, 2,59,565 belong to the village and ward volunteers. TDP supporters are showing this claim and the dual talk of the Government and ridiculing the Chief Minister for the inconsistency.

Against the Ward and Village Volunteers mention in the jobs table, the government has mentioned honorarium in brackets indicating that they are jobs in the jobs table and a service for rest of all other things, they point out.
