Jagan Shows The Spine That Naidu Could Not

Stalling the efforts of BJP and Janasena to gain prominence in Andhra Pradesh with Communal Politics, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy referred the Antarvedi Chariot issue to the CBI. This will curtail the issue to the BJP and Janasena for future agitation.

Jagan acted at the right time so as not to give any political opportunity. In complete contrast, Chandrababu Naidu turned a blind-eye to BJP’s similar attempts during his tenure. BJP despite being in alliance with TDP in the state troubled the then Government in many ways.

Somu Veerraju who got nominated to the council basing on TDP’s strength led the vicious campaign against Naidu. Naidu could not show the spine or recognize the need to curb such attempts which damaged the reputation of his own Government. Jagan always wanted to be in the good books of the BJP High Command probably due to the pending cases on him.

He dropped the crucial Special Status issue and could not even raise his voice when the rightful GST share is denied. But when it came to the political need, he responded at the right time and curbed the political opportunity of BJP and at the same time, did with precision so as not to hurt Delhi.
