Jagan Unsure About Second List?

Is Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy hesitant to announce the list of constituency in-charges for the upcoming general elections?

Doubts are emerging within the ranks of the YSRCP, as there is concern that denying tickets to more than 50 sitting members could lead to a revolt.

The initial changes in the in-charges during the first phase, involving 11 members, triggered a significant backlash.

While the concerned MLAs may not fear Jagan, second-tier leaders in the YSRCP are not accepting these changes.

There is criticism among the cadre regarding the transfer of Minister Meruga Nagarjuna from Vemuru constituency in Bapatla district to Santanutalapadu in Prakasam district.

MLA Tippala Nagireddy has openly criticized his shift from Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam.

Despite the social pension increase from Rs. 2,750 to Rs. 3,000, Jagan is reportedly concerned about potential protests, especially if there are severe objections from sitting MLAs over candidate changes.

There is a real fear that if the protests escalate, there might be a danger of MLAs joining TDP and Jana Sena, creating a perception that YSRCP is facing internal challenges before the elections.

Additionally, the potential impact of YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s daughter, Sharmila, taking charge of AP Congress is another factor causing unease for Jagan.
