Jagan’s Condition to Daggubati

Reports are emerging that Former Minister and Late NT Ramarao’s Son-in-law, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao is contemplating to quit the party and join BJP. Venkateswara Rao and Purandeshwari’s son, Hitesh joined YSR Congress just before the election but he could not contest the election due to the Citizenship issue.

So, Jagan fielded Venkateswara Rao in his place but he lost the election. Back then, Jagan told the former minister that he is fine with Purandeshwari continuing in BJP. But now, we are told that the Chief Minister is serious about Purandeshwari’s frequent criticism about the state government’s policies.

“Jagan is fine when Purandeshwari was criticizing Chandrababu Naidu. Now since the focus is on YSR Congress, he is hurt and wants her into the party. He clearly told Daggubati to bring her into the party or decide his future course of action. He may choose to go than kill his self-respect,” a source close to Daggubati family says.

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao engineered a few important defections from TDP to YSR Congress before the elections and he is angry that Jagan is not valuing his contribution to the party.
