Jagan’s Due Credit: ‘Green Mat’ in Telugu Politics

YS Jagan and his party YSRCP’s use of Siddham with Green Mat, mostly employed in movie-making to depict unreal scenes, has stirred up a storm on social media.

Social media is flooded with trolls and tweets featuring Siddham and Green Mat images. While speaking to the media, Chandrababu Naidu addressed the matter.

Chandrababu mockingly stated that Jagan had even introduced Green Mat into politics for the first time to fabricate public attendance for his team, allowing them to share fake videos and photos of massive crowds at his meetings.

Chandrababu questioned, ‘Have we ever seen any political party use Green Mat for meetings? Why spend hundreds of crores on these gatherings?’

However, one thing is certain: if anyone in the future mentions Green Mat in politics, YS Jagan’s name will invariably be associated with it, even though it’s not a favorable association to have.
