With the state bifurcation complete, Congress is totally out of race for 2014 elections and the competition is on only between Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress Party. The election will be a do or die for Jagan as all the cases against him will surface in case TDP comes to power. So he is trying his might to become the Chief Minister of Residual Andhra Pradesh. Jagan few days ago reportedly called BJP President Rajnath Singh and asked him to ignore alliance with TDP. He said YSR Congress will be bagging 30 MP seats in Andhra Pradesh and will be supporting NDA after elections.
Jagan reportedly is also in touch with Communist Parties and is planning to have prepoll alliance with them. Communists have gone with Telugu Desam Party since 2009 elections. Jagan is also trying to persuade them to severe ties with TDP. “Jagan is a Pilla Kaki in National Politics. His false propaganda will not work at all. Babu has huge reputation in National front” added a source in NTR Bhavan on this latest development.
