Jagan’s poor show @ Special Status dharnas!

YSR Congress today called for state wide dharnas at all the collectorates demanding Special Status for the state. Jagan himself sat for the Dharna at Kakinda collectorate. However there is a poor response for these dharna across the states. Due to the ongoing defections from YSR Congress to TDP, gathering people for the dharnas became difficult.

Leaders have tried to ‘bring’ people for the dharnas but they did not stay for more than an hour giving bare look to media. Even at Kakinada collectorate, this became a big problem. Former MLA, Kurasala Kanna Babu who recently joined the party, was made East Godavari district Party President.

He got the people for neighbouring West Godavari arranging food, transport and others. On the other side, Jagan made routine speeches making Chandrababu Naidu as the main culprit for Center not giving Special Status. He never did criticize the center and this attitude even irked his own men present at the dharna as the people are seeing these as only politically motivated dharnas.
