Jagan’s Project Bata spreading fear in MLAs

Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had finished his Project Bata on Friday. Project Bata is a new yatra to make sure he and his party stays in public memory as well as in the media. However the yatra seem to have no effect on people or the ruling party. Except for some random situational comments by ministers, government is not very much bothered by Jagan.

In fact Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is in China totally away from the opposition leader’s news. On the other side, if any one are hurt by the yatra, it is the YSR Congress leaders. All the leaders are cash strapped after no helping hand from Jagan after the election loss. Most of them spent huge amounts before the elections hoping to reap benefits if Jagan wins.

But every thing has changed. Even the sitting YSR Congress MLAs are not getting funds from the state government and so pooling people for Jagan’s meetings had become a very tiresome affair. Vijaya Sai Reddy has to persuade every one from behind to work for the party. Many leaders are totally staying away from the party affairs fearing the compulsion to spend more money.
