Jagmohan Dalmiya dies at 75

Well known personality BCCI president, Jagmohan Dalmiya died at BM Birla hospital in Kolkata on Sunday night around 8.45 PM. Dalmiya was admitted when he complained about chest pain on Thursday but on Sunday morning his situation became critical and breathed his last at 8.45 pm. He died after a massive cardiac arrest in the hospital. Dalmiya’s had health issues for a while now and was not actively taking part in the daily activity of the BCCI. He was 75.

Doctors said “two stents were planted in his heart. Despite all the efforts from the doctors, he succumbed to the bleeding at around 8.45pm,”

Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi tweeted – My thoughts are with the family of Shri Jagmohan Dalmiya in this hour of grief. May Shri Dalmiya’s soul rest in peace.
