Jaitley totally ignored Special Status in AP tour!

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is in Andhra Pradesh at the inaugural of National Academy of Customs, Excise and Narcotics project at Palasamudhram in Anantapur district on Saturday. Every one expected Jaitley to shower some more funds to the truncated state but he managed to complete the tour with out making things exciting.

Jaitley just promised the people that Center will make sure all the promises to the state are implemented but there is no single mention of Special Status to the state in his speech much to the worry of the state. People and leaders at the event stressed on the need of Special status but Jaitley cautiously ignored it.

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu who accompanied Jaitley thanked him for the last minute funds which saved the state from going overdraft. Naidu requested greater support from the Centre, without which, he opined, the speedy development of the State was not possible.
