This time around, the Razole MLA has revealed that he won with the help of fake votes. But he adds this isn’t in MLA elections but in Sarpanch elections.
“At my village, Chintalamori, there used to be heavy fake voting. My men used to poll 10 votes each and I used to end up getting 700-800 votes lead in this village alone. That happened extensively when I was contesting in MLC elections” the Razole MLA said.
He went on to say that the fake voting trend was mainstream back then and it indeed helped him a lot.
This isn’t the kind of comment one would expect from a public representative. Netizens are commenting that it is strange to see an MLA commenting about how he won with fake votes.
