The Jana Sena head office has issued guidelines to its cadre stating that they stay off the issue of deputy CM.
The office asked the cadre not to react in media or on social media. This can be looked as a major development, especially after Kiran Royal’s social media video yesterday.
The issue started with a social media video from TDP and was gaining momentum with other leaders and cadre joining those wanting to see Lokesh as deputy CM.
It has to be remembered that TDP and Jana Sena are poll allies and Pawan was made the deputy CM to appease his community that voted against YSRCP and supported the TDP.
Obviously, neither the TDP nor Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena would want cracks in the alliance, merely months after elections. Their other poll ally BJP too would like to present a happy picture of their togetherness.
Now, it remains to be seen if the issue would die down eventually. So far, no such decision has come from TDP, though Babu was requested directly on stage during a meeting before he left for Davos.
