Janasena Trying for Kapu Vote Consolidation?

Janasena Leader and Former CBI JD Lakshminarayana has met Kapu Strongman, Mudragada Padmanabham the other day at the latter’s Kirlampudi residence and had one to one meeting for around an hour. This meeting gave rise to speculations about Mudragada Padmanabham joining Janasena Party.

Mudragada is appearing to be in favor of the Ruling YSR Congress Party but can not join the party as Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy said No to Kapu Reservations. The Kapu Strongman will not join TDP due to rivalry he picked up during their regime. So, Janasena is the only option if Mudragada is interested in active politics.

Moreover, Pawan Kalyan did speak in favor of Kapu Reservations on a couple of occasions after the election. This is also a good catch for Janasena as it may increase the Kapu consolidation towards the Party. Before the 2019 elections, Pawan Kalyan tried not to erase the Kapu Party Mark but that has impacted the party’s results.

If Mudragada joins Janasena, it may be the first step towards Kapu Consolidation. Janasena had just managed to open its account in the recent elections with a Single Seat in the recent elections. Even Pawan Kalyan lost from both his seats forcing urgent retrospection.
