Janasena’s Parakala Moment or Reflection of the Future?

Gedela Srinu Babu, one of the key members of Janasena Party since its inception and key funders quit the party and joined YSR Congress. This exit assumed significance because Gedela is announced as the Party’s Vishakapatnam MP Candidate only a couple of days ago.

People see this exit as two things. Janasena Supporters see him as a Covert of YSR Congress and see this as what Parakala Prabhakar did to Praja Rajyam Party a decade ago. They feel Parakala as a mole of Chandrababu Naidu whose exit led to the downfall of the party back then.

Political Experts say that this could be an indication of things to come for Janasena Party. Pawan Kalyan is rumoured to be contesting from Gajuwaka, a seat under Vishakapatnam Parliament. That should help Vizag MP as well. If even that could not inspire confidence in Gedela who is one of the key members in Pawan Kalyan’s Close Team, Janasena may struggle to inspire other candidates and the electorate as a whole.
