A 16-year-old boy was assaulted sexually by a 28-year-old woman. After knowing the truth, the boy’s mother filed a complaint on the woman.
A POCSO case has been filed against the woman. The incident occured within the limits of Jubilee Hills police station.
According to preliminary investigation, the two were said to be in a consensual relationship. However, the police said the POCSO Act would be applicable to the woman as the boy is a minor.
The incident happened in the posh Jubilee Hills area as mentioned earlier. According to the story that emerged so far, the boy was repeatedly sexually assaulted by the woman. This led the police to file a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case.
The boy’s parents approached the police after seeing their son’s deteriorating mental health and hearing of stories through others.
According to locals, both the boy who just completed 10th standard and the woman worked as domestic helps in the same house in the area.
The police say that consensus does not matter as it is a POCSO case and action will be taken accordingly. The woman has been taken into custody and the police are trying to get more facts.
