June 2nd: Telangana Smiles, AP Wails

Today is June 2nd which marks the Fourth Anniversary of the Appointed Day of Telangana Formation. Telangana Government has marked the occasion of the State Formation Day and is celebrating the eve as a Festival at the Parade Grounds.

In fact, the celebrations happen from Delhi to Telangana with a lot of Pomp and Gaiety. On the other side, Andhra Pradesh Government has stopped celebrating its Formation Day from 2014 and instead it is administering an oath on the name of Nava Nirmana Deeksha.

On this day every year, an oath is taken to condemn the injustice done to the State in the name of bifurcation and will ensure that people work hard for the development of the State. While TDP Government is having Nava Nirmana Deeksha, YSR Congress is organizing a Betrayal Day in Nellore with Day Long Fast against the State Government.
