Jupudi misses MLC with a big tragedy!

Jupudi Prabhakar until now is a confirmed MLC candidate from TDP. Jupudi who was a staunch loyalist of YS Rajasekhar Reddy came out of YSR Congress after the 2014 elections alleging backstabbing by Jagan and joined TDP. Chandrababu promised him a renomination to the Council which will also garner the support of Mala community to the ruling party.

However Jupudi is likely to miss the MLC post for a technical reason. It is said that Jupudi do not have his vote registered in AP which is a must for MLC nomination. Jupudi resides in Kukatpally of Telangana and has his vote there.

He forgot to get it transferred to Andhra Pradesh after the state bifurcation which will not get him MLC now. Telugu Desam Party is exploring if there is a way out. If there is no way, the party is planning to nominate former Speaker Prathiba Bharathi now instead of Jupudi.
