National Association For Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) released a statement expressing its concerns over the Reservations in Private Bill being moved by the Karnataka Government.
NASSCOM urged the Karnataka Government to rethink over the Bill and warned that such a move would force companies to relocate as local skilled talent becomes scarce.
Immediately after NASSCOM released the Press Statement, Andhra Pradesh’s IT Minister Nara Lokesh extended an invite to the companies.
“Dear @NASSCOM members, We understand your disappointment. We welcome you to expand or relocate your businesses to our IT, IT services, AI and data center cluster at Vizag. We will offer you best-in-class facilities, uninterrupted power, infrastructure and the most suitable skilled talent for your IT enterprise with no restrictions from the Government. Andhra Pradesh is ready to welcome you. Please get in touch!,” Lokesh wrote.
Andhra Pradesh maybe the first state to sense an opportunity in the crisis brewing in Karnataka. The Proactive leadership has made the first bid through Nara Lokesh.
This kind of a leadership which always looks for an opportunity and makes first use of it is missing in Andhra Pradesh in the last five years.
Also, it should be noted that Nara Lokesh has invited the companies to Vizag.
During the last five years, the then Chief Minister is busy antagonizing the people of Amaravati in all possible ways.
But Lokesh and TDP has no such malice towards Vishakapatnam.
They are clear Amaravati is the capital and Vishakapatnam is the Growth Engine of Andhra Pradesh.
It looks like the people of Andhra Pradesh made the right choice in choosing a Progressive leadership.
