The Pamidimukkala police have filed a case against former Pamarru MLA Kaile Anil Kumar and his supporters. According to the police, they created a disturbance during Jagan’s tour to meet flood-affected residents in Krishna district and obstructed official duties.
CI Chittibabu had asked YSRCP leaders not to block the highway at Gopuvanipalem near Pamidimukkala. However, Anil Kumar and his supporters argued with the police, insisting they would act as they wished. Following the altercation, a case was registered against them.
Police officials confirmed that more cases will be filed based on drone footage from the incident. They said the visuals are being reviewed to identify others involved in the disruption.
As in previous visits, Jagan’s tour turned into a display of political strength. His party workers caused severe traffic jams, inconveniencing commuters. Many locals were seen complaining to officials about the chaos along the route.
