Kanna to be AP BJP President?

BJP high command seem to be making serious plans of the party penetration in Andhra Pradesh. Despite contesting with TDP in the last elections, the party always looked like trying to get strong independently in the truncated state since then. Off late, BJP leaders like Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Kavuri Samba Siva Rao and Daggubati Purandhareeswari always tried to corner TDP government as and when occasion came their way.

It is now reliably learnt that the party high command is seriously considering naming Kanna as the party president in AP. Kanna is always known to be Anti-TDP and Anti-Chandrababu, appointing him will send signals to the alliance partner and party cader about the future direction.

Also Kanna is representing the strong Kapu community which may own the party theirs’. However political analysts say that BJP can not grow in the state unless or until it keeps up the promises made during the bifurcation.
