Karanam Balaram to YSR Congress?

YSR Congress is reportedly in talks with Karanam Balaram, TDP Senior Leader from Prakasam district to shift his loyalty. Balaram is one of the TDP leaders with the party since its inception. He lost in the last elections and was expecting MLC seat.

However Naidu chose to ignore him and gave the seat to Maguna Sreenivasula Reddy who joined the party just before the elections. YSR Congress is cashing on this dissatisfaction and is in talks with Balaram.

They reportedly promised him a plum post in the party and MLA ticket to his son, Karanam Venkatesh in the next election. Balaram is still in dilemma on taking the final decision as coming out of the ruling party just after the elections is just like swimming against the tide.
