Kavitha Breaks Silence on KTR: “There’s Distance Now”

Kalvakuntla Kavitha daughter of KCR, has once again become a hot topic in Telangana politics.

In a candid sit-down interview with TV5’s Murthy, she opened up like never before.

One of the most talked-about moments was around a personal letter Kavitha wrote to her father, KCR — a letter that somehow got leaked to the media. The fact that a daughter’s private letter to a political figure of KCR’s stature made its way to the public eye sparked huge controversy.

Another key topic discussed was the possible merger of TRS into BRS — a move that continues to stir political conversations.

While Kavitha remained as diplomatic as possible throughout the interview, she couldn’t hide her emotions when asked about her relationship with KTR.

She admitted that KTR was once closer to her than even KCR, but admitted that a clear distance now exists between them.

She did not stop there. Kavitha openly stated that there’s currently no leader in the party who truly inspires her — a statement that subtly questions KTR’s position as the party’s future face.

Kavitha also emphasized that she is now focused on strengthening Telangana Jagruthi, her cultural and youth empowerment platform — signaling her intent to carve an independent path within or possibly beyond the party framework.
