Kavitha is now facing opposition from members of Jagruthi, creating an embarrassing turn of events for her. Reports suggest that Jagruthi leaders are unhappy with her decision to quit BRS. Senior leaders claim that Jagruthi belongs to them as well and insist on supporting KCR.
They are openly questioning Kavitha’s political interests and state that she seems closer to BJP and Congress. Many leaders feel their own goals are compromised because of her aspirations. This has sparked rumours that Jagruthi might split into two factions soon.
Leaders who once stood with Kavitha are now speaking against her in media. Telangana Food Corporation ex-chairman Mayday Rajeev Sagar, State Trade Promotion Corporation ex-chairman Bhikshapati, Godavari Srinu, and Rajaram Yadav have all criticised her publicly. Rajeev Sagar even asked what benefits Jagruthi members received under her leadership.
He reminded people that Kavitha served two terms as MP and two as MLC, yet Jagruthi members did not see meaningful social justice. He alleged that many still struggle for basic needs. Instead of addressing them, Kavitha is now speaking negatively about BRS leaders, he added.
Rajaram Yadav accused Kavitha of favouring Revanth Reddy, Chandrababu, and Narendra Modi. He said her moves have made BRS vulnerable to criticism. He stressed that they continue to support KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao. This has further deepened speculation about Jagruthi’s future.
Political circles now believe Jagruthi may split into two groups as leaders allege Kavitha is using the organisation to expand her political base. For now, she is reportedly busy with personal matters, and analysts say the split could happen once she returns.
